MUSIC OF THE SPIRIT
The rhythms of the globe are around us and are part of us, and this is no better represented than by music. The foundation of music is sound, and the expansion of sound becomes music. While all music has the capability to reach the spirit, there are sounds that resonant from the spirit and are part of all our cultural traditions.
The harmony of this music reflects the harmony in the smallest particle of life and of the universe itself. This is sacred music.
Mahakaruna: The Mantra of the Great Compassion: Sacred music expressing itself through chants. Here, the spiritual music of Buddha invokes the blessing of the Buddha and taking refuge in the enlightened ones, in the spiritual community and in ones own nature to do what is right.
